The Holy Qur'an, the final revelation, was revealed to maintain peace, love, compassion and brotherhood in the world. Almighty Allah revealed the book of complete guidance to the Prophet Muhammed [PBUH] to administer justice among human beings irrespective of their creed, caste, religion and language till the end of the world.
It is unfortunate that many scholars, who don't have the proper tools of reading the text, find fault with the Holy Quran. On the one hand, the relevance of Islam and the Holy Qur'an is increasingly questioned day by day; on the other hand, criticisms, sarcasms and mockeries against the Holy Qura’n are maliciously rised. In this context, Muslim scholars have a great responsibility of clearing the misgivings and redirecting the people’s understanding into right direction, using the knowledge and wisdom from Holy Quran.
In this connection, a full-fledged institute for research on Holy Quran is being established under Jamia Jalaliya at Mundakulam near Kondotty. The institute has been named as the International Research Institute for Tafseer al-Qur'an (IRITAQ).
